Evoking the waves of the deep sea. A thick, clear paint adds lustrous finish to enhance the beauty of the dial while achieving an unprecedented level of depth.
BEAUTIFUL APPEARANCE WITH FUNCTIONALITY ENSURED
The unique case shape inherits it's distortion-free mirror surface from the original design of 1968. Additionally, the stainless-steel bezel has been treated with Diamond-Like Carbon coating to achieve a surface hardness approximately six times greater than it would otherwise be, making it significantly more resistance to scratches
EVOLVED CASE
This watch features a one-piece titanium construction that ensures water resistance to depths of 600 meters, suitable for saturation diving. At the same tim, the screw that secure the bezel within the watch's construction are on the back of the case, allowing for a seamless aesthetic.

Caliber 8L is a high-quality mechanical movement that embodies Seiko's expertise in mechanical watchmaking, along with uncompromising spirit of craftsmanship passed down through generations of skilled artisans With Caliber 8L45, Seiko has improved the shape and design of the mainspring and implemented precise accuracy adjustments, achieving the most stable accuracy (-5 to + 10 seconds per day) among Seiko's current mechanical movements and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
