In 1965 Seiko created Japan's first divers watch, they continue their diving legacy with more innovative watch making that meet the demands of todays professional divers worldwide. Seiko has created three new 60th anniversary limited editions (SPB511J1, SLA081J1, SPB509J1) show casing how far the original has come in both functionality and design.
POWERFUL DIAL DESIGN FEATURING THE WAVE MARK
The wave mark, a symbol of the Seiko diver's watch, is a testament to high reliability and exceptional technology. This mark is engraved of the case backs of all seiko diver's watches.
Inspired by the wave mark, a dynamic, embossed pattern reminiscent of the rough sea is applied to the dial. It's powerful design captures the fore of the crashing whitecaps.
DESIGN BASED ON HERITAGE
The design of the SPB511 pays homage to Seiko's first ever diver's watch from 1965. The bezel features a refined gray color, enhancing the sense of unity with the case and elevating the luxurious quality of design.
NEW CLASP WITH IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY, COMFORT AND APPEARANCE
An updated clasp, which allows a 15mm adjustment range, can easily be extended or shortened in six 2.5 mm increments by pressing the side buttons. This ensures a comfortable fit, adapting to changes in the wrist size caused by diving pressure or the weather.
